Job Description:

The Director, Product Factory will serve as a strategic partner and right hand to the Head of Product Factory, supporting the building and scaling of a newly established Transaction Banking VCP Product Factory function. This role will blend business management, execution oversight, and transformation enablement—ensuring the Product Factory operates efficiently, delivers against strategic priorities, and builds strong foundations for growth.

As the Product Factory is at a formative stage, the Director will play a critical role in establishing operating rhythms, coordinating across stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and enabling leadership to focus on strategic outcomes.

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a new way of working across business lines and support functions, and the build-out of the next-generation of TD’s Transaction Banking capabilities. The role requires a blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate the complexities of the Transaction Banking transformation landscape. Specific responsibilities include:

Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Product Factory, providing strategic insights, defining and executing on the product factory agenda and providing recommendations to support decision-making and program executionHelp oversee and manage the overall program’s strategic operational oversight, ensuring efficient workflow and prioritization of tasksOversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines including establishing and managing internal product factory forums, reporting processes, and performance dashboards to track progress, risks, and benefits realization alongside the Transformation Office Delivery teamHelp plan and execute business planning and product profitability in partnership with Segment Finance and GTB Business Management including leading annual and quarterly planning cycles, OKR tracking, budget oversight, and headcount/resource management.Support the organization and preparation of materials for Executive-level meetings, ensuring agendas are aligned with program priorities and stakeholder interestsFacilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, including senior Executives, Transformation Program leads, Product Factory leads, Business team leaders, Functional team leaders (across Technology, Operations, Supporting Functions, etc.), and external partners ensuring clear communication and aligned deliveryAnticipate and manage risks, ensuring timely escalation, issue resolution, and compliance with internal policies.Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to support organizational transformationHelp shape team culture and ways of working, including onboarding, communications, and initiatives to support engagement, learning, and collaboration.Help coordinate interactions with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with program requirements and objectivesLead navigation of TD internal processes in partnership with GTB Business Management to maximize speed of execution, efficiency, and function within TD policies (e.g., strategic sourcing)

Role requirements / experience:

Extensive business experience and expertise in Transaction Banking across the mid-market and large corporate client segments (including strong knowledge of banking technologies, platforms, etc.)10+ years of transformation at scale experience (prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable); Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large-scale organizational change initiativesExperience working in a multinational environment, with an understanding of global markets and cross-border transaction bankingStrong project management skills, with experience in overseeing complex projects and ensuring timely delivery of outcomesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insightsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiencesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstancesSuperlative emotional intelligence, problem solving, and team building skill
