Director, Operations-Regulatory Operations, Last Mile Delivery
Position Summary...We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director, Regulatory Operations on the Trust & Safety team (T&S) within Last Mile Delivery (LMD). This role will be responsible for developing and operationalizing strategies to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes, while partnering cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Government Affairs teams. The ideal candidate will bring regulatory acumen, operational rigor, and a passion for building scalable systems that support long-term readiness and innovation.

What you'll do...

•Regulatory Readiness: Develop and execute a strategy to ensure compliance with current and emerging regulations; Continuous monitoring of industry, state, and federal changes to laws, regulations, and best practices that impact LMD; Proactively create strategies for anticipated future regulations or laws; Competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategy and approach.

•Operational Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of new regulatory requirements working with both operations and technology stakeholders; Build and maintain a roadmap with Product and Engineering to ensure compliance by design through flexible configurations and measurable controls; Coordinate with Legal and Compliance to review implementation plans, ensuring timely sign-off.

•Cross-Functional Partnerships: Coordinate with Legal, regulatory change management, Compliance, Product, and Government Policy teams; Facilitate regular status updates and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment; Advocate for solutions that mitigate risk and without adding undue friction to business operations.

•Operational Excellence: Identify and monitor controls, KPIs, and alerts to validate and measure effectiveness of program; Leverage AI and automate to improve process efficiency and reduce risk whenever possible; Develop and maintain SOPs for critical risk areas; Oversee transparent and timely reporting to partner teams.

What you'll bring:

•8+ years of experience in operations, compliance, legal, risk management, internal auditing, or related fields.

•Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from inception through execution.

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

•Experience with digital governance, compliance platforms, and operational reporting tools.

•Experience working with government policy teams or in a policy advocacy role.

•Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
