Your new role

As the Market Access Director in Region EUCAN, for Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and Rare Disease within the Pricing & Market Access department, you will translate scientific and clinical innovation into sustainable access solutions.

You will provide senior level leadership, driving cross-functional coordination across the EUCAN Region, engaging key stakeholders and ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies, all while maximizing both patient and commercial value.

Your key responsibilities include:

Leading the development and execution of Region EUCAN Market Access strategies for Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, and Rare Disease portfolios Defining access positioning, pricing, reimbursement, and HTA strategies across markets and product lifecycles Translating lifecycle plans into differentiated pre- and post-launch access delivery plans Supporting affiliates in securing optimal access outcomes Anticipating and addressing payer policy trends, access barriers, and evolving funding models through targeted mitigation and advocacy plans Driving evidence generation priorities, including RWE, economic modelling, and burden-of-illness analyses Leading, mentoring, and developing the regional Market Access team, building strong and sustainable access capabilities

 

Your new department

Region EUCAN Market Access Diabetes, CV, Rare Diseases department develops and implements reimbursement, access and commercial strategies to ensure patients living with chronic disease can benefit from our therapies. Aligned with our purpose to improve patients’ lives, the team drives clinical, evidence and stakeholder initiatives, and engages colleagues across the organization to lead change and secure sustainable access.

You will join Pricing & Market Access, where we support our stakeholders to solve various business challenges related to medicine pricing and affordability across various geographies.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are seeking a strategic and impact-driven leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments. You bring clarity, influence, and executional strength, and are motivated by improving patient access to life-changing therapies. You balance long-term access vision with hands-on delivery across diverse markets. You’ll also bring with you:

A master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field, with senior-level experience in pharmaceutical or biotech market access Senior-level Market Access experience within pharma/biotech across multiple European and Canadian markets. Strong expertise in HEOR and RWE to support value demonstration and reimbursement Proven experience with complex contracting, including outcome-based agreements and tender processes Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, matrix teams across geographies Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills
