Job Description

Daily management of engagements; including meeting with clients and/or counsel to collect information for the creation of reports and financial analyses/models, analyzing and critiquing opposing parties' claims, management of staff and working closely with the Managing Directors of the firm. Manage complex assignments from concept through delivery. Assist with practice development efforts of the Managing Directors. Identify and convert new business opportunities. Write reports, presentations and other materials. Daily management of engagements including meetings with clients and counsel. Critique opposing parties' claims. Manage junior staff working on the engagement. Leading market, industry, company, technology and royalty rate research performed by junior staff. Direct staff efforts in preparing models, reports and other activities. Train staff on technical concepts. 

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or closely related field and five (5) years of experience as an Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution Manager, Financial Analyst, or related role where required experience gained.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in stated fields and five (5) years of stated experience, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in stated fields and three (3) years of stated experience.Also requires experience in the following:  Management and training experience;Report writing and taking experts through depo/trial;Understanding, interpreting and assessing damages case law for inclusion into damages reports and supporting damages experts;Interpreting and analyzing financial statements and light statistics;Market Research; andWriting damages and valuation reports.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $163,300 - $180,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
