The Director, Global Supplier Quality is responsible for the overarching Quality Management System requirements and strategy for Purchasing Controls. The Director of Global Supplier Quality will lead Radiometer’s Supplier Quality team to ensure that suppliers deliver quality product on an on-going basis while developing supplier capability to support future needs. This role will be instrumental in developing our proactive Supplier Quality Roadmap and work with product support teams, engineering and others on quality issues and supplier initiatives. The individual must demonstrate sound technical ability and decision making to achieve the desired results. This position reports to the Senior Director, Quality Assurance and is part of the Global Operations Quality. This role is meant to be an onsite position with an individual located in Stargard facility. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Lead and Develop Teams: Manage all aspects of the supplier quality organisation, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews. Set individual and team goals to foster growth and excellence. + Global Supplier Quality Oversight: Ensure quality of supplied parts and services globally, including contract manufacturers, material suppliers, and service providers. + Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and deploy quality strategies, programmes, and roadmaps to support current and future business needs. + Compliance and Audits: Accountable for supplier compliance with audits, Supplier Quality Agreements (SQA), SCARs, Process Change Notifications (PCNs), and effective closure of audit non-conformances. Oversee supplier qualifications and part/process validations. + Regulatory Adherence: Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and global regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO, IVDD/IVDR). + Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key SQM metrics, including supplier capability in new product development and sustaining environments. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product support teams, and participate in global Supplier Review Boards to drive continuous improvement. The essential requirements of the job include: + Proven leadership experience: Minimum 4 years managing and developing high-performing teams in a technical quality environment, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and setting strategic goals. + Strategic mindset: Demonstrated ability to define and execute global supplier quality strategies, roadmaps, and programmes that align with organisational objectives. + Extensive industry expertise: 10+ years in supplier quality within medical devices or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), including experience influencing global processes and driving continuous improvement. + Regulatory and compliance knowledge: Deep understanding of GMP, ISO 9000, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR 820, with a track record of supporting FDA and Notified Body audits. + Performance-driven approach: Skilled in monitoring and interpreting KPIs such as PPM (Parts Per Million), on-time delivery, and quality metrics to inform strategic decisions. + Global collaboration: Ability to work effectively across regions and functions, fostering partnerships that enhance supplier capability and organisational resilience. + Flexibility for travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% (primarily within Europe, occasional global trips) to strengthen supplier relationships and oversee compliance initiatives.
