Job Description Summary

The Director, FP&A will be responsible to develop the annual company budget, as well as period forecasts for the Americas region and/or business units.

Responsibilities:

Produce and analyze financial data for areas of responsibility, including variance analysis to budget and prior yearAssist in various ad hoc financial analysis, financial systems and process improvements, and special projectsPrepare annual budget for designated areas, including inputs on overall processReview of financials compared to operating budgets and identify trends affecting business performanceIdentify, produce, and analyze key financial metrics (KPI’s)Assist with periodic financial projections through contact with business and analysis of underlying run ratesHelp maintain and improve Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase software for Enterprise by analyzing evolving business needs and software capabilitiesEvaluate and suggest improvements of all current financial processes and systemsProvide assistance to automate processes and implement systems changes as necessaryHelp with maintenance and Enterprise-wide implementation of brokerage revenue forecasting tools (ReApps)Prepare monthly financial analysis package, which includes explanation of income statement and metricsPrepare monthly inputs to monthly Consolidated reporting packageProvide forward-looking Business Support to Business Leadership to help evaluate key strategic decisions for responsible areas, including pricing support and business case analysisInvestigate and analyze expense variances to budget and prior year and identification of savings opportunitiesMaintain effective communication within team and coordination with local office and other departmentsConduct special project work for finance or local office, as needed, through direction of Finance leadershipHelp develop presentation quality deliverables to Finance and Business leadershipSupervise a team of three

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree; Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred7-10+ years of related FP&A work experienceCPA (active or inactive status) preferredExperience with Hyperion Essbase and Planning and PeopleSoft FinancialsFP&A experience with exposure to complex internal reporting and analytical processes and exposure to executive leadershipStrong familiarity and use of Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of Access a plusCommercial Real Estate industry experience desiredAbility to communicate effectively and be comfortable explaining accounting concepts to people with nonfinancial backgroundsAbility to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $144,500.00 - $170,000.00
