Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Strategy & Systems, the Director of Digital Enablement and Optimization is accountable for ensuring our digital platform capabilities deliver measurable value to programs, partners, and operations, today and over time. This role owns the effective execution, optimization, and continuity of digital capabilities across their full lifecycle, while partnering closely with product strategy and implementation leaders to bring future capabilities to life. You will guide your team to deliver high quality, sustainable technical solutions that work in practice, scale reliably, and continuously evolve based on real-world usage and data. A deep understanding of the software product development lifecycle, key business drivers, patient and client experience, alongside outstanding leadership capabilities are required to succeed in this role.


What you'll do: 

As a leader, you will be required to lead, mentor, and develop a team of product owners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture. Provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring their growth and success.

Own the ongoing success of digital capabilities across in-production programs. Responsible to ensure success criteria is established and metrics are available for benefit assessment and tracking.

Continuously improve capabilities, using data, performance metrics, and operational insights.

Ensure digital capabilities drive efficiency, reduce friction, and improve the experiences of users.

Identify when optimization has plateaued and partner with product strategy and implementation leadership to identify next-generation innovation

Own deployment governance, release readiness, and capability rollout planning.

Ensure operational teams, client readiness teams, and stakeholders are equipped to adopt capabilities effectively. This includes maintaining high standards for documentation, training artefacts, and release communications.

Use data and analytics to assess capability performance, adoption, and impact, informing the digital roadmap decisions with evidence.

Partner closely with implementation partners to ensure new capabilities are designed with execution, scalability, and sustainability in mind.


What you bring:

Senior product, platform, or digital leader with experience owning complex systems in production environments

Strong systems thinker who understands how technology, operations, data, and people intersect

Comfortable operating in ambiguity while driving disciplined execution

Deep appreciation for governance, standards, and consistency

Data-driven decision maker with a bias toward measurable outcomes

Credible partner to executive leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams

Able to balance pragmatism (“what works now”) with ambition (“what should work next”)

Enjoy working in a complex and fast-paced environment

Excellent time management, organization skills, and a keen attention to detail are required

Ability to guide and mentor colleagues for effective decision-making and leadership abilities
