Role and Responsibilities
The Director of Final Mile Logistics Platforms and AI leads strategic initiatives across Mobile, Appliance, and TV Final Mile, and AI domains to drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and profitability for Samsung Electronics America. This role is critical as SEA is completing a migration of ERP systems and should support providing continuity and expertise to ensure a successful migration from legacy SAP systems while identifying and implementing value-added innovations across business units.
This leader owns platform strategy, AI enablement, operational execution, and transformation delivery across Mobile, Home Appliances, and TV business lines.
Strategic Leadership
Lead the Platforms and AI functionality with three direct reports overseeing Mobile, Final Mile, and AI functionsIdentify, evaluate, and implement innovations that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitabilityPartner with cross-functional teams to prioritize value-added initiatives aligned with business objectivesReport directly to the Department Head of D2C Final Mile on strategic direction and progressERP Platform Transition
Serve as subject matter expert during migration from SAP to Cello platformProvide critical support for Mobile division operations during the transition period following leadership changesEnsure business continuity and minimize disruption during platform migrationLeverage institutional knowledge of legacy systems to inform transition strategyMobile Division Oversight
Provide leadership and strategic direction for mobile technology integration and optimizationEnsure systemic issues are mitigated to avoid impact to $16B annuallyDrive process improvements and innovation within mobile operationsEnsure alignment between mobile initiatives and broader organizational goalsFinal Mile Operations
Lead innovation and process improvement initiatives for last-mile logisticsIdentify opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency and customer experienceImplement technology solutions to optimize final mile performancePartnership with final mile carriers to provide support for enhancements and future engagements that require integration and architecture end point changes.AI and Emerging Technology

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field15+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or technology implementationDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reportsStrong knowledge of enterprise platform migrations and system implementationsProven track record of delivering operational improvements and cost savingsAbility to travel 25% of the yearTechnical Skills:
Experience with SAP modules including LE, SD, MM, WM, TM, and BASIS (required for legacy system transition support)Familiarity with modern logistics platforms and TMS solutionsUnderstanding of AI/ML applications in supply chain and logistics operationsProficiency with data analysis and reporting toolsPreferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fieldExperience with Cello or similar next-generation logistics platformsBackground in consumer electronics or high-volume distribution environmentsKnowledge of mobile device logistics and reverse logistics operationsStrategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plansStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementChange management and organizational leadershipResults-driven with focus on measurable business outcomesPhysical Requirements
