**Description**
The Director, Customer Facing Analytics is a supervisory role leading a team of professionals in field analytics, supporting customer facing teams including field sales, market access and medical. This person is an expert in organized customer groups and payers with special emphasis on IDNs. They will have primary responsibility for all aspects of call plan development including territory design, mapping and alignments as well as ensuring cross functional and cross collaboration communication and alignment with Marketing, Sales, A'I TA Leads and Commercial Operations. Responsible for the development of field force metrics and monitoring of those metrics for national payer performance. Responsible for the development of timely and actionable insights including establishing appropriate metrics for field facing teams. This person is a thought leader in this area and is interpreting the analytics to inform sales leadership on the evolution of the customer model. This leader will effectively integrate data from multiple sources to deliver and communicate actionable insights relative to the optimal performance of customer facing teams to leadership stakeholders. Will be a subject matter expert in field analytics and organized customer analytics and will have the confidence and ability to influence senior executives in support of key business initiatives. Responsibilities include field analytics and analytics support for the therapeutic areas, account managers and field based medicine. Key deliverables include call plans, field force optimization models and special projects as requested by customers.

**This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site.**
**Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead the team in support of each therapeutic area, Account leads and Field Based Medicine in the development of strategies and tactics based on analytics and associated insights. Provide recommendations to guide high-level decisions affecting sales model evolution, contracting strategy and customer interface to Sr. Leadership and other stakeholders. Ensure that all relevant information from other functions (e.g. Forecasting and Controlling) is integrated into analyses.
+ Work with internal business partners including Commercial Operations, IT, Analytics ' Insights TA Leads and others to ensure alignment and collaboration with customer facing teams and to find opportunities to continue to improve the effectiveness of customer facing teams.
+ Responsible for all field analytics including, where appropriate, Market Research and Competitive Intelligence to provide actionable insights and recommendations relative to the market and competitive forces that could impact our industry and specifically our sales model. Develop holistic assessments based on thorough analysis of internal and external business issues and ensure integration of MR and CI deliverables into sales model evolution, field force sizing and resource allocation.
+ Ensure that field goals are aligned with HPBU Management’s goals and priorities. Deploy resources accordingly and set annual objectives and budgets. Adapt deployment as needed to support HPBU Management’s evolving needs.
+ Translate customer targeting and segmentation received from A'I TA's for each brand into call plans/account targets. Optimize call plans to ensure efficiency and profitability.
+ Support customer facing teams and internal management with actionable sales force analysis and insights on both sales performance and execution at the territory, District, and Regional level.
+ Special Projects: Participate in Special projects at the direction of HPBU management.
+ Hire, Retain, manage and grow talent to create bench for talent and in accordance with processes and policies of the company.
+ Department Financial/Resource and Operational Objectives Alignment: Ensure that Department goals are aligned with HPBU Management’s goals and priorities. Deploy Department resources accordingly and set annual objectives and budgets. Adapt deployment as needed in support of HPBU Management’s evolving needs to ensure that financial and operational objectives are met, while ensuring that corporate standards of excellence, company policies, compliance and ethical business practices are upheld by members of the Department.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required.
+ Masters degree preferred.
+ Ten-plus (10+) years of experience in the Pharma Industry with experience in field analytics and business knowledge of Pharma companies and their business practices.
+ Highly analytical and expert in field analytics, strong communication skills and confidence and ability to influence senior leaders.
+ Deep knowledge and experience in analytics to support account planning for organized customers and payers with emphasis on IDNs.
+ Lead people, deliver results, customer focus, team work ' collaboration and analytical acumen.
+ Previous managerial and/or project management experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated people management and leadership.
+ Demonstrated success in managing large-scale cross-functional projects.
