Family Dollar’s newly private organization is seeking a dynamic **Director of Corporate Talent Acquisition** to lead our enterprise-wide hiring strategy for all corporate functions. This highly visible and mission-critical role will build and scale innovative talent acquisition programs designed to attract, engage, and hire top-tier talent aligned with our company’s bold growth agenda and cultural transformation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and execute enterprise talent acquisition strategies that enable organizational growth and workforce planning, while continuously improving the candidate experience and time-to-fill KPIs.
+ Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team of TA managers and recruiters. Set clear goals, ensure accountability, and create a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
+ Partner closely with executive leadership and HR Business Partners to anticipate talent needs, proactively build pipelines, and ensure alignment with headcount plans and succession strategies.
+ Oversee the full candidate lifecycle, from employer branding and sourcing through interviewing and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience at every stage.
+ Leverage data and analytics to drive performance, track critical recruitment metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. Promote fiscal discipline and resource optimization within the function.
+ Act as a strategic advisor to senior HR and business leaders on talent trends, market conditions, and best practices. Partner with HR Directors on retention strategies and attrition planning.
+ Ensure all recruitment practices are compliant with EEOC guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 10 years of progressive recruiting leadership experience, with demonstrated success leading high-volume, multi-function corporate recruiting teams
+ Deep expertise in supporting key corporate functions (Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Merchandising, etc.)
+ Proven experience developing and executing data-driven talent acquisition strategies in a growth-oriented or transformation environment
+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
+ Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing platforms preferred
+ Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
**Additional Information:**
+ This is an onsite role based in **Chesapeake, VA**
