Job Overview

The Client Executive Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to raise funds in the capital markets and provide clients with strategic advisory services in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of investment strategies and advisory services to our public and private clients.

In this role, you’re expected to:

Manage a team of Client Executive and work closely with the Sales teamUnderstand clients’ business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value to clients and cross-selling Citi productsOwn regional service issue escalations, the resolution of recurring or complex service issues, and the regional incident reportsOwn changes to the regional/global escalation process, own the policy for regional clients, and own he cultural change for Client Executives and Account ManagersManage client priorities and complete the impact analysis of change rollouts for regional market/platform changesLead strong governance and controlsWork in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructureBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsAppropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputationBe familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities ServicesAdhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to youObtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

15+ years of experience in a global financial institution8-10+ years of managerial experienceExperience leading client service as an account manager or manager of service teamDemonstrated ability to manage teams, hire and/or develop diverse talent on regional basisDemonstrated ability to deliver to a high standard

Education:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred
