To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** As the Director, Business Effectiveness, reporting to the Senior Director, Special Initiatives, you will provide support on executive communications, strategic planning, leadership reporting, resourcing, and other aspects of overall business effectiveness, management practices, and principles to analyze and interpret complex concepts and apply them in creative ways. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** + **Data-Driven Decision Making -** Leverage data analytics to support strategic planning and business decision-making. Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to develop insights and recommendations. Utilize performance metrics, risk appetite measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to create clear, accurate, and actionable reports that inform leadership strategies and business objectives. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration -** Establish and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization, including Personal Business Banking (PBB), Commercial Banking Wealth Management (CBWM), and other functional groups. Facilitate collaboration between business units to align strategic goals, share insights, and coordinate initiatives. Act as a liaison between senior leadership and various teams to ensure consistency in communication and execution of business strategies. + **Executive Reporting & Communication -** Prepare high-impact presentations, reports, and dashboards tailored for executive audiences. Synthesize complex data into clear, compelling visuals and narratives that drive understanding and decision-making. Support the Senior Director by crafting communication materials that effectively convey strategic insights and progress updates to senior leaders and stakeholders **.** + **Special Initiatives -** Provide direct support to the Senior Director, Special Initiatives, by assisting in planning and executing key projects and events. Organize and coordinate townhalls, offsite meetings, team-building activities, and internal functions.
