What the day will look like Direct and mentor a team of business development support specialist Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration and client success. Oversee the end-to-end process of closing new business opportunities, including technical selling and placement with insurers. Partner with senior brokers and growth teams to structure competitive proposals and solutions. Act as a trusted advisor for key clients during the placement process Ensure timely and accurate delivery of broking services aligned with client expectations. Develop and implement strategies to enhance placement efficiency and win rates. Monitor market trends and maintain strong relationships with insurers to secure favorable terms. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all placements. Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in broking or insurance business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Deep understanding of insurance markets and placement processes. Proven experience in broking or insurance placement with strong technical selling skills. Leadership capability to manage and develop a team. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
