What the day will look like Reinsurance related analysis (actuarial analysis, catastrophe modelling, reinsurance pricing, Retro Rollups, DFA etc.) Consultancy related projects (IFRS 17, reserve etc.) Assisting clients in understanding their exposure to insurance risk and determining the optimal reinsurance arrangements meeting their risk, return and capital requirements Present analysis report, interpret catastrophe modelling results and making subsequent reinsurance recommendations to internal and external clients Perform client training sessions to introduce analytics related materials Team leadership to guide and provide mentorship to junior analysts Skills and experience that will lead to success Degree in actuarial science, statistics, data science or in related fields Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the insurance or re-insurance industry Experience in catastrophe modelling with advanced level of model knowledge An understanding of the various reinsurance structures to manage risk and implementation of them within the modelling framework Able to independently deal with internal and external stakeholders Excellent organization skills and interpersonal skills How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
