What is the opportunity?
RBC Direct Investing (RBCDI) is currently looking for an Associate for the Royal Distinction program in Vancouver. RBCDI is a ”do-it-yourself” online brokerage that provides clients with access to the capital markets and other investment products.
Associates service all client segments with a focus in providing expert support to new and existing High Net Worth/Ultra High Net Worth (HNW/UHNW) clients with highly complex needs requiring an elevated level of service. In your role, you will support the Regional Head and Senior Relationship Managers to achieve strategic and financial goals of RBDI.

At RBCDI, you will have the resources and support needed to deliver for your clients through partnerships and alignment with RBC Wealth Management, RBC Private Banking and RBC Commercial and Business Banking.
What will you do?
Lead with a service mindset, delivering an exceptional partner experience that demonstrates your ability to support them and their clients with a “white glove” level of careProvide start-to-finish sales and ‘after sales’ service. Associates will take ownership and be involved in comprehensive client service i.e. account opening, asset transfers, guidance through online access/set-up, maintenance and follow-up once assets are received.The role is directly accountable for achieving sales team asset growth objectives. Business results will be achieved through the implementation of effective networking and local market activities and partnering with Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) to attract new accounts and assets from new and existing RBC clientsLeverage a superior level of knowledge of the brokerage and wealth management industry, RBC Direct Investing’s business and other lines-of-business within the Wealth Management platform to solution complex client requestsCollaborate with local market partners, including Wealth Management, Private Banking, Commercial and Business Banking to identify new high net worth client opportunities that require a specialized and in-person on-boarding experienceParticipate in educational seminars to new and existing customers to promote the use of DI tools and services and to generate awareness of all available productsProvide direct client feedback and experiences to Senior Relationship Managers to support strategy initiativesWhat do you need to succeed?

Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) as role will require Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) registrationWorking Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPointNice-to-have
