Sentara CarePlex Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit.

Shift: Days - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Weekly Scheduled Hours: 36 hours

License and Certification

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

RN-Associate’s Degree, or

RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or

RN-Diploma, or

RN-Master’s Degree

Department Overview:

The Sentara CarePlex Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical ICU with eICU monitoring. Our patient population includes COPD, CHF, R/O MI, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, pancreatitis, renal failure, liver failure, multiple organ failures with or without sepsis, and surgical populations, with vascular and ENT surgeries, primary stroke center, being the most common. In addition, devices in ICU includes, PRISMAX and Balloon Pump.
