Located in Tucson AZ, our Brief Intervention Program (BIP) is a short-term residential facility that provides enhanced residential services to male and female adolescents ages 12-17. Individuals stay up to 30 days in our structured treatment setting which includes 24-hour supervision and therapeutic services. This program is designed for adolescents who are in crisis, requiring active treatment in an environment with a high degree of oversight, intensive programming, and treatment. The BIP features living facilities, education/schooling, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services.

 

Direct Care Professionals (DCP) provide direct supervision and assist with the day-to-day activity schedule setup for the individuals in the program. Direct support duties include: helping individuals with their mental health, managing behaviors and emotional needs, de-escalating crisis situations, treatment plan implementation, personal care (bathing, dressing), medication management, transport, and fostering social skills. Other duties include documenting progress for daily, weekly, and monthly logs, adhering to the activity schedule, and attending clinical supervision meetings. Direct care staff also assist with the planning and implementation of enrichment activities such as art projects, music groups, culinary arts, various athletics (basketball, soccer, swimming), community outings, and adult-transition prep!

 

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.80 hr

Full Time, Part Time, and On-call Schedules! *Must have ability to work weekends (schedules are subject to change)

  Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferredSix (6) weeks of behavioral health work experienceOR Bachelor’s degree in the areas of psychology, sociology, social work, education or other related field OR 12 years of related experiencePrevious experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional and behavioral disorders, complex post-traumatic stress disorder, co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders
