Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive industry, is seeking a Dimensional Engineer to join their team. As a Dimensional Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting vehicle development and chassis commodities teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dimensional Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $88 per hour

What's the Job?

Define and establish datum schemes, tolerances, and requirements for chassis commodities. Serve as Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) lead for feasibility assessments. Oversee the drawing-check process for designated vehicle commodities. Define and implement measurement strategies. Approve fixtures in accordance with project requirements.

What's Needed?

In-depth understanding of chassis commodities within vehicle requirements. Proficiency in performing 1D/3D stack-up analyses to evaluate design feasibility. Ability to organize and present complex technical information clearly and effectively. Experience in build troubleshooting and technical drawing validation. 6-8 years of experience in dimensional management and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
