This role will champion the value of master data, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that support CBRE's business objectives. This individual will work to define and implement Master Data strategies, processes, and technologies to improve data quality, governance, and usability. This role has the potential to have direct reports. What you'll do + Product Strategy & Roadmap + Develop and maintain the product roadmap for Master Data Products, aligning with CBRE's overall business strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and data governance objectives. + Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather user feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements, new features, and emerging technologies within the Master Data Products space. + Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility + Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., business units, IT, data governance) togather requirements, prioritize features, and communicate product vision + Product Development & Execution + Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and data teams. + Partner with engineering teams to translate product requirements from the business stakeholders into specifications for the technical team and ensure successful implementation. + Overseethe daily Agile process. This includes daily scrum sessions, demos, and testing activities. + Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product designs based on user feedback and data analysis. + Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering the highest-value features. + Stakeholder Management & Communication + Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business users, IT, and data governance teams. + Work with business stakeholders to assess product needs and to identify products that will solve a business problem. + Communicate product roadmaps, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. + Act as a product evangelist, educating stakeholders on the value and benefits of Master Data Products. + Provide regular updates on product performance, market trends, and competitive landscape. + Continuous Improvement & Innovation + Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the data management space. + Identify opportunities to improve existing products and processes, driving innovation and efficiency. + Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. + Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data management products, providing guidance and support to the organization. + Performs other duties as assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. + 5-8 years of relevant experience in product management and/or commercial real estate + Experience with the following is required: + Proven experience in defining and launching successful data-driven products. + Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio,Profisee,etc) + Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). + Strong understanding of data warehousing, data integration, and data governance principles. + Experience with the following is a plus: + Experience in the commercial real estate industry. + Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). + Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels. + Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. + Ability to clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap. + Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise product specifications. + Excellent collaboration, influencing and leadership skills. Technical Proficiency + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). + Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). + Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts. + Knowledgeable in standard data aggregation techniques including data processing with normalized/renormalized data structures. + Software development lifecycle knowledge, with background in agile philosophies and methodologies.
