Lilly is entering an exciting period of growth, and we are committed to delivering innovative medicines to patients around the world. LRL has increasing needs for in-house manufacture of material for clinical supplies and will therefore construct a new campus to manufacture Clinical Trial (CT) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) to meet needs for an expanding portfolio (more and new areas), to accelerate development timelines, and to enhance supply chain robustness.

The brand-new facility also known as Lilly Medicine Foundry (LMF) will utilize the latest technology to augment the current clinical supply chain for small molecules (SM), oligonucleotides, peptides, and Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs), monoclonal antibodies and bioconjugates, and add new capabilities including mRNA.

The new site will be built using the latest high-tech equipment, advanced highly integrated and automated manufacturing systems, and have a focus on minimizing the impact to our environment.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

The Digital Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with digital and technical solutions for the Lilly Medicines Foundry. The focus of the Digital Systems Analyst role is to be an integrator between business and technology to ensure digital solutions meet business needs.  The Digital Systems Analyst will partner with business stakeholders and local and global IT teams to define requirements, prototype, implement, and validate digital solutions.

How You’ll Succeed: 

Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes at the Foundry, applying knowledge to digital solutions to support the business processes.

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Accurately translate business processes into technical terms and vice versa. 

Overseeing the configuration, installation, and validation of digital systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Build and leverage a strong understanding of corporate computer system validation requirements according to Lilly Quality Standards.

Support business in a technical capacity with application configuration, data accessibility, integration design, and BI reporting.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with business users, technical teams, and project managers.

Work to enhance the digital literacy of the site to ensure ongoing support and innovation around the use of technology to enable business value.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Must have excellent communication skills. 

  Basic Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information or related field.

2+ years of experience with IT solution delivery, business analysis, digital integration, or a similar hybrid role.

At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical GxP environment.

Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Lilly will not provide support or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role 

Additional Preferences: 

Experience working in a GXP, regulated environment. 

Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms (Tulip, Power Apps, etc).

Experience as power user of quality, engineering, health safety, applications (Veeva, Maximo, Autodesk cloud, etc)  

Experience with analytics or business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc).

Understanding of regulatory requirements in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), such as FDA regulations for pharmaceutical manufacturing. 

Solid knowledge of Computer System Validation process.

Demonstrated ability to analyse, anticipate, and resolve complex issues (technical, operational, or business-related) through sound problem-solving skills 

Effectively prioritize and escalate issues.

Demonstrated learning agility and curiosity.

Other Information:  

Initial location will be based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Permanent location will be at the new Lilly Medicines Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$64,500 - $151,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
