The right candidate will mentor and develop engineering team members and support their technical growth along with contributing to engineering best practices, continuously improving and promoting innovation The Digital Senior Development Engineer will work closely with product management to plan for sprint work to achieve long-term goals. In this role, you will identify opportunities to improve our code, technology stack, and engineering processes. The right candidate also will engage in/lead team discussions to resolve problems and create solutions. The Digital Senior Development Engineer will also facilitate cross-team discussions on issues affecting multiple organizations, applications, and systems. **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years of experience in Node.Js and related frameworks building web service back ends + 3+ years of experience defining, implementing, and testing web service APIs + Experience implementing services tailored to a variety of consumers (Web, Native mobile, service to service) using the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) approach + Experience working with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline such as Circle CI and Harness
 **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working with Docker and cloud infrastructure (ideally AWS and/or GCP) + Experience working with GitHub + An open mind about different solutions and a willingness to propose and/or discuss alternatives + Experience with event driven architecture and frameworks to support them such as Kafka **Education** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Highschool diploma plus 4 years relevant work experience.) **Anticipated Weekly Hours** 40 **Time Type** Full time **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $101,970.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
