**Job Title: Digital Press Operator** **Job Description**
As a Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining digital printing and cutting presses to produce high-quality printed materials. Your role will be crucial in managing color, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring the equipment is maintained for optimal performance. This position demands attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate digital press equipment according to job specifications, production schedules, and company quality standards.
+ Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
+ Monitor print or cutting jobs and troubleshoot issues related to print quality, color, registration, or machine performance.
+ Assist with creating and maintaining accurate color profiles and ensure color consistency across jobs.
+ Verify that each job meets quality expectations and client requirements before releasing it to the next stage of production.
+ Follow the production schedule to keep jobs on time and support on-time delivery.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
+ Work overtime when required to meet production deadlines.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic computer skills and ability to learn production software and RIP workflows.
+ Ability to read and use a ruler and other basic measuring tools.
+ Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality.
+ Good color vision and ability to discern subtle color differences.
+ Ability to work within tight tolerances and follow specifications closely.
+ Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with team members.
+ Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed to complete jobs.
+ A 'hands on' 'can do' attitude with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital printing or a related print production environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience with HP, EFI, Durst, and Zund Digital equipment.

You will work in a small shop dedicated to the manufacturing of printed goods. The environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Harrisburg, NC.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
