Overview
This internship supports the Digital Commerce and Operations teams by improving vendor data quality and documenting how vendors flow through our commerce platforms. The intern will help map end-to-end vendor onboarding processes and assist with vendor record cleanup in Rithum (CommerceHub), ensuring accurate, reliable data across integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
Process Mapping & Documentation
Document the end-to-end vendor onboarding and order flow from vendor setup through order processing
Create clear swimlane or flow diagrams showing interactions between Vendors, Digital Ops, Data Governance/Master Data, Rithum (CommerceHub), SAP, and OMS
Identify system dependencies, checkpoints, SLAs, and approval steps
Partner with subject-matter experts to validate and refine process documentation
Produce training-ready artifacts and supporting documentation
Vendor Data Cleanup & QA (Rithum)
Review and clean vendor records in Rithum (CommerceHub), including warehouse assignments, order and ship methods, and key data fields
Validate required fields, identify duplicates or inconsistencies, and track changes
Perform basic QA using defined checklists or test scripts
Escalate data issues or exceptions to the appropriate teams
Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data
Basic understanding of order management or supply chain systems (OMS, SAP, or similar)
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (filters, lookups, pivots)
Ability to clearly document processes and communicate findings
Familiarity with diagramming or visualization tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or PowerPoint)
Comfortable coordinating with cross-functional partners and knowing when to escalate questions

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
