At Boehringer Ingelheim, we are seeking a commercially sharp and strategically minded **Digital Marketing Manager Pets Nordics** to accelerate our growth trajectory with our strategic online partners and e-retail. As Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health Nordics expands into new digital channels, customer segments, and platform partnerships, the position requires strong commercial leadership and the ability to influence without formal authority—an approach that fits well with the Nordic way of working _._ Since these areas are relatively new for our Animal Health Nordics business and extend beyond traditional pharma, veterinary, and pharmacy frameworks, the role also demands a practical mindset, openness to change, and the ability to build new capabilities across the organization.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the brand plans, digital e-retail strategy and media activation for the Animal Health Pets business. This role focuses on driving online sales growth, strengthening partnerships with e‑retailers and online platforms, optimizing digital product visibility, and ensuring best‑in‑class brand experience across online channels. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, strong digital and analytic expertise, and a deep understanding of the animal health market and its customers online.
You will be part of a collaborative and ambitious Pet Health Care team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Unit Pets Nordics. We value a proactive growth mindset—and we are looking for someone who thrives in that environment.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Lead media activation plans from development to evaluation
+ Identify and seize growth opportunities with our online presence and identify strategic partners
+ Develop and implement the e‑retail strategy across key digital channels- marketplaces and online retailers.
+ Drive e-retail and media activation to ensure consistent and effective execution and drive shopper conversion
+ Define channel targets, pricing strategies, revenue forecasts, and digital business plans.
+ Identify growth drivers and business opportunities based on category trends, competitive performance, and customer insights within the animal health sector
+ Manage specific initiatives to identify opportunities and drive category growth
+ Oversee media activation planning and manage the annual marketing budget
+ Create and execute impactful multichannel marketing campaign
+ Collaborate closely with sales, regional and global teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence in defined areas
**_What are we looking for?_**
A candidate that brings at least 5 years of strong e‑retail experience, ideally through collaboration with major strategic retail partners. The candidate has a proven track record in managing e‑retail operations, activating complex product ranges, and works effectively with media agencies to deliver impactful digital campaigns. Understanding the digital retail landscape and knowing how to drive meaningful online activations is both highly valued and an essential expectation for this role. With a proactive, collaborative and growth‑minded approach, the candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and contributes with energy, ownership and a clear drive to create real business impact.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM:**
+ A degree in Business Administration or Marketing (Master’s is a plus).
+ 5-7 years of working experience in e-retail and online channels.
+ Industry experience in Animal Health is valued but not a must.
+ Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (spoken and written).
+ Strong data analytical capabilities with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
+ A self-starter mindset with business acumen and a result-driven approach.
+ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
