Digital Marketing Internship

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•    Develop and implement social media content calendars using information from weekly ad planning meetings and touch-bases with the Digital Marketing Manager. Plan and maintain an engaging social media content calendar by gathering insights from weekly ad planning meetings and collaborating with the Marketing Team.
•    Create engaging video and static content across Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and paid media platforms to strengthen brand presence.
•    Utilize Sprout to plan, schedule, and publish social media content across multiple platforms, ensuring accuracy and optimal posting times.
•    Maintain and update the marketing department calendar to ensure accurate scheduling of campaigns, events, and key deadlines.
•    Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns for key store events (Grand Reopenings, Community Events, etc.) through creation of campaign briefs and cross-functional coordination.
•    Implement digital marketing strategies to boost engagement and sales. 
•    Compiled and interpreted comprehensive social and digital media performance data, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights for decision-making.
•    Request creative assets from internal teams to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
•    Support media agency partnerships by managing asset delivery and ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
•    Manage the loyalty program, including weekly reporting, offer development, employee incentives, and customer/associate support. 
•    Update accurate website content for accuracy, including party platter content and store hours. 
Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•    Must be currently as a rising senior working towards a bachelor’s degree or a recent graduate (open to marketing and graphic design majors).  
•    Must be able to commit to working full time during the summer of 2026 (40 hours per week).  
•    Understanding of marketing strategy, user acquisition, and digital engagement. 
•    Knowledge of multi-channel digital media content planning and execution. 
•    Experience with digital marketing channels, including social media trends (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok). 
•    Understanding of digital marketing channel optimization, including paid media, push messaging, and email campaigns. 
•    Ability to build, coordinate, and balance content calendars, scheduling both corporate and local content without over-saturating channels. 
•    Experience sourcing and managing content from development through publishing and beyond from internal and external sources. 
•    Keen visual eye with the ability to identify compelling visual content and develop it or articulate goals to creative teams. 
•    Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 
•    Creative thinker with fresh ideas to enhance the brand’s standing. 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work individually or in a team environment. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
•    Open to occasional travel for store events.
