Digital Strategy and Transformation Leader LAC

As the Head of Digital, Strategy and Transformation for Marsh Risk and Marsh People in LAC, you will be responsible for driving the operations, technology transformation and artificial intelligence agenda for Marsh in the region, helping define and execute the end-to-end digital offering for clients, colleagues and carriers, across Marsh's business segments in support of top line growth, client satisfaction and retention, enhanced client and colleague experience and productivity. This role reports into the Regional COO and the International Digital Leader. Can be based in Colombia (El Dorado) , Mexico City (Torre Mayor) or Brasil (Varig). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Digital Strategy and Transformation

Be the integrator in the digital transformation process, serving as an intermediary between all other executives and functions in the rollout of digital initiatives and capabilities, fully integrating business and technology, and closing digital performance gaps that exist in and between the various functions and business units of the organization.Identify new revenue opportunities, revenue streams and client engagement from the adoption and deployment of digital technologiesDeliver value to colleagues and clients while growing the business leveraging digital solutions to unlock innovation and drive productivity, connectivity, and client engagement.Understand markets, competition and client / colleague requirements in depth bridging local and global strategyBe the conduit to translate client needs into product, data output and technical capabilities to deliver holistic digital capabilities seamlesslyBe a digital evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to engender a digital culture mindset from the top downEnsure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between colleagues to help embed a robust digital ecosystem.Provide leadership and governance for these initiatives both in LAC and globally.Ensure that regional client and regulatory requirements are included into the strategic-planning process for the digital product roadmaps with leadership commitment and adequate local resource allocation for successful execution.Measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we're investing in the right tools and resources

Strategy and Planning

Responsible for strategic operating model from design through to transformational execution. Work across the business and COO function to design and execute the strategic TOM, aligned to the Global TOM.Identify & monitor priorities that require leadership focus & proactively ascertain improvement/value-add opportunities for O&T.Drive execution of top priorities in alignment and agreed with the regional and global Executive O&T leadership teams.Plan, design, and execute strategic projects on behalf of COO.Lead in-depth analysis of selected businesses and operations, develop strategic and tactical actions and prioritize, and document findings and results.  

Affinity - Operations and Technology

Responsibility for driving operational strategy, enhancing efficiency, and implementing standardization across the region. This role will focus on centralization, segregation of duties, and digitalization initiatives to optimize operations and improve service delivery.AI Monetization: Assist business and operations in creating solutions to effectively monetize artificial intelligence.

 

What you need to have

A minimum of 20 years in leadership positions including at least 10 years of experience in complex change delivery, digital strategy and innovation.  Prior experience in consultancy, insurance or financial services.A proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology change and transformation programsConsumer or B2B internet product experience and prior insurance industry experience preferred; technology proficiency a plusExperience in developing and driving alignment around a vision, partnering in a highly matrixed environment, setting goals, initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidanceCreative problem-solving skills, with the ability to flex thinking between high level strategy and the details that matterExcellent analytical skills with attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication skills; self-organized and process drivenBachelor’s degree required, MBA preferredFull command of English language
