Digital Communications Specialist (Hybrid)

The Digital Communications Specialist role is responsible for the digital communication experience of Belk associates. This role will develop, maintain, and enhance communication technologies and graphics to engage with associates to reinforce the Belk brand and culture. This role will lead the digital communications work, partnering closely with HR, marketing, and IT teams.
Essential Functions:
Identify opportunities and develop compelling visual content for internal digital communication channels, including digital signage, emails, intranet pages, internal social networks, social media, video and moreConsistently interpret and apply the Belk brand to all communications Develop and manage internal-facing websites using various applications and programs including SharePointDevelop, design, and deliver internal-facing website redesigns and initial build plans Provide expert consultation on digital communication strategies and website design, development, testing and delivery Support business partners with graphic assignments for a variety of projects/initiativesRequires designated hybrid in-office work schedule
Education:
Work Experience:
Experience designing compelling graphics for multiple platforms/uses requiredExperience developing, managing and executing digital communication plans requiredExperience leveraging social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn required1-3 years of experience developing digital platforms and content requiredExperience with e-marketing software and digital signage software preferredRetail experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
