As a Part Time Registered Dietitian/Wellness Coach, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Dayton, OH.
*This part time schedule will be for 24 set hours per week.
What You’ll Do
The Registered Dietitian/Wellness Coach provides individual nutrition consultation to members, as well as evidence-based coaching to assist members in co-creating a personalized wellness vision to achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Operating within their scope of practice the Registered Dietitian/Wellness Coach will collaborate with other Premise Health providers as part of a multidisciplinary approach.
What You’ll Bring
Education:
Documentation of state license/registration (e.g. copy of actual license, verification of license, or email including license number)Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic RegistrationNational Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (preferred)Certified by a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) approved program or ability to complete an approved certification within 24 months of hire (Wellcoaches preferred)Lifestyle Medicine Certification (preferred)Additional certifications in wellness/fitness specialties are desirable (preferred)Masters in a health-related field or equivalent experience (preferred)Experience:
Three years of experience as a registered dietitian in a clinical settingMinimum 3 years’ experience working as a wellness coach (preferred)Minimum 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting (preferred)Experience in public speaking and presentations.Experience in health promotion or work site wellness preferredKnowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Internet navigation, spreadsheets, power point and diet analysis software.Knowledge and respect of confidentiality and HIPAA laws.Strong written and oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals.Able to work independently.Ability to counsel/teach in one on one or small group settings.Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EPIC preferred)Work-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
