POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Under general supervision of Supervisor and Registered Dietitian and according to established procedures, performs routine tasks associated with Hospitality and Nutrition Services including nutritional service of patients, patient food service or cafeteria service and dish room duties.  Normally assigned to a specific service area, but may be required to assist in other capacities due to variations in workload and staffing.  Responsible for handling food in accordance with the departmental and regulatory agency procedures and standards.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School graduate or equivalent. Prior experience in diet office work and food service preferable. Basic computer skills needed.
