Job Overview

We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant for Lake City Care Center (transitional care and long term care units). This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior residents-patients and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our care community in Lake City, MN!  

 

This food services aide position includes;

16 hours every two weeksEvening shiftEvery other weekend and holiday rotation

Job Responsibilities: 

 

Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and invitingPromotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction with their meal serviceSanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains suppliesAssists with meal prep and special eventsProvides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floorsAnswers phones and communicates requests appropriately

Preferred: 

 

No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service settingExcellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor requiredDesire to work with seniorsAbility to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
