**Job Title: Dietary Aide**
**Job Description**
The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals to patients, residents, or clients in healthcare or residential settings. This role ensures food is served in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while adhering to dietary guidelines and sanitation standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in meal preparation following dietary restrictions and menu guidelines.
+ Deliver meals to residents or patients in a timely and courteous manner.
+ Set up dining areas and ensure cleanliness before and after meals.
+ Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
+ Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in all areas of food handling.
+ Stock supplies and organize food storage areas.
+ Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, healthcare providers, and residents.
+ Follow all health and safety regulations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in food preparation and foodservice.
+ Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
+ Experience in dishwashing and cleaning.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience as a chef or line cook is advantageous.
+ Skills in housekeeping are beneficial.

**Work Environment**

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based near of New Castle, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
