### Job Duties We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Aide/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of dietary needs. This role is essential in ensuring that meals are not only nutritious but also delicious, catering to the specific requirements of our clients. The Dietary Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in menu planning and development, considering nutritional value and dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Participate in training sessions related to culinary techniques, food safety, and dietary practices. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques with a solid foundation in culinary skills. Knowledgeable about food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required. Strong knife skills and ability to use various kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A collaborative team player who can help foster a positive working atmosphere within the kitchen. Attention to detail when following recipes and dietary specifications is essential.
