Diesel Technician
**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** As a Diesel Mechanic, you will work in a dynamic job shop environment handling a variety of motorized equipment such as dump trucks, trash compactors, balers, and snow plows. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, working on hydraulic components, rebuilding cylinders and pumps, conducting minor engineering tasks, handling transmission work, troubleshooting electrical issues related to trucks, and engaging in minor fabrication work. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative maintenance on motorized equipment. + Work on hydraulic components and rebuild cylinders and pumps. + Perform minor engineering tasks without total rebuilds. + Handle transmission work and troubleshoot electrical issues related to trucks. + Engage in minor fabrication work. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of experience as a diesel technician. + Proficiency in diesel engine troubleshooting and repair. + Ability to rebuild pumps and follow technical prints. + Welding and fabrication experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ownership of personal tools is required. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy the benefits of working for a family-owned business that pays a portion of their benefits after going direct.
