**Job Title: Diesel Technician**
Job Description
As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues on semi-trucks, checking vehicle systems such as suspensions, steering, and exhausts, and fixing or replacing parts including lights, brakes, air systems, tires, and electrical components. You will also perform oil changes and keep detailed records of parts and services.
Responsibilities

+ Inspect vehicle systems such as suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
+ Fix or replace parts like lights, brakes, air systems, tires, and electrical components.
+ Perform oil changes.
+ Maintain detailed records of parts and services.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in diesel troubleshooting.
+ Preventive maintenance knowledge.
+ Experience with diesel engines.
+ Welding and fabrication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with changing lights, brakes, and oil changes on diesel trucks.
+ Troubleshooting engines.
+ Knowledge of decals.

Work Environment
The position offers a first shift schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with two scheduling options: a rotating 3 on, 3 off, 4 on, 4 off schedule. We are a family-owned company operating out of four shops across the US, providing services such as semi-truck repairs, rolloff repairs, installations, and tailgate sales. The work environment is based in a friendly and collaborative small-shop setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
