**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** Join our team at Dulles International Airport, where you will service catering trucks. These refrigerated trucks are vital for transporting meals to aircrafts, ensuring passengers receive their in-flight dining experience. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on medium duty trucks. + Diagnose and repair diesel engines. + Repair air brakes and troubleshoot wiring diagnostics. + Read schematics and work with hydraulic systems. + Diagnose electrical issues and address check engine lights (drivability issues). **Essential Skills** + 6+ years of diesel experience. + Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems. + Proficient in performing preventative maintenance and engine diagnosis. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. + Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge. + Flexibility in working different shifts. + Experience as a road mechanic is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We are part of a leading international group, offering a dynamic environment where you can develop and grow. Your day will involve tasks assigned via tablets, ranging from preventive maintenance to light repairs. Mainly working with diesel trucks, with some gas engine vehicles. Operate off the ramp at IAD, with shifts from Friday to Tuesday, 2PM-10:30PM. Flexibility is required based on shop needs. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Sterling, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
