Description
The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other truck systems.
Responsibilities also include:
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software.Conducting inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.Replacing or repairing worn or defective parts such as bearings, brake pads, and belts.Maintaining accurate service records and documentation of repairs.Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and DOT regulations.Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and parts needs.Keeping work area clean and organized.Skills
