Job Description
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and other truck systems. Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as bearings, brake pads, and belts. Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and parts needs. Keep work area clean and organized.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and brakes.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and electrical using diagnostic tools and software.Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.Replace or repair worn or defective parts, such as bearings, brake pads, and belts.Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs.Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and DOT regulations.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding repair status and parts needs.Keep work area clean and organized.Essential SkillsProficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Skilled in diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.Knowledge of general truck repairs and engine accessories removal.Capability to operate, test, and diagnose various components.Mechanical assembly and repair skills.Experience with pneumatics and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperienced Diesel Truck Mechanic.Roll-away tool cabinet and portable tool cart required. Work Environment
Work in a truck yard and garage bay from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Join a team in a company with over 100 years in business, dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60320.00 - $76960.00/yr.
