Job Description
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues, as well as conducting routine maintenance work to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity. This role requires repairing or replacing broken or dysfunctional parts, fixing issues, and keeping logs on work and issues to maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues.Conduct routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids and lubricating parts.Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts.Fix issues with vehicles and perform upgrades.Keep detailed logs on work performed and issues encountered.Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.Handle various tools and heavy equipment.Essential SkillsProven experience working on diesel engines.Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is required.Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma preferred.Valid ASE certification is a plus.Knowledge of MB Sprinter vans is a plus.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
