Diesel Mechanic
**Job Title: Diesel Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to join our team and work on heavy diesel and mining equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as diesel engines, within a mining environment. **Responsibilities** + Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on diesel engines in a mining setting. + Diagnose and repair tier 4 diesel engines and DPF systems. + Repair heavy diesel equipment, including dump trucks, haul trucks, loaders, drills, and conveyors. + Handle hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance on skid steers, transport vehicles, bulldozers, and cranes. + Troubleshoot and diagnose engine repairs to identify the root cause of issues. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in diesel mechanics and heavy diesel repair. + Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks. + Familiarity with tier 4 engines and diesel particulate filters. + Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Diesel repair certifications (Cat, Komatsu, Diesel repair state or ASE). + 2+ years of experience working on diesel equipment in an industrial environment. + 2+ years of experience with heavy diesel equipment such as dump trucks, haul trucks, loaders, drills, and conveyors. + 2+ years of experience working on pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tooling. + 2+ years of heavy equipment component repair experience. **Why Work Here?** This position offers opportunities to expand your expertise in the diesel field by working with both familiar and unfamiliar equipment.
