**Now Hiring A Diesel Mechanic in Ruffs Dale, PA!**
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems, with the ability to perform preventative maintenance on various on-highway diesel-powered commercial freight vehicles.
**Responsibilities**
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
+ Perform routine maintenance and basic fabrication tasks
+ Keep accurate records of work and parts used
+ Help manage tools, parts, and inventory
+ Communicate repair needs and timelines clearly
+ Use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in mechanical repair and maintenance
+ Skilled in diagnosing and fixing engine and system issues
+ Familiar with diagnostic tools and various mechanical systems
+ Certified or trained in relevant technical areas
+ Physically capable of handling demanding tasks and environments
+ Holds a valid driver’s license; commercial license preferred
**Work Environment**
Work in various conditions, including outdoor and all-weather environments. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4pm. **Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
