Job Description
Join our team as a Die Setter, specializing in the Disc Press Group. You will be responsible for setting dies in 3500 Metric Ton presses using overhead hoists and fork trucks. This role involves setting up and adjusting dies, preparing them for production runs, and conducting minor maintenance and inspection of tooling.
ResponsibilitiesSet dies in 3500 Metric Ton presses via overhead hoists and fork trucks.Set up and adjust dies for production runs.Perform minor maintenance and inspection of tooling.Work 50+ hours a week, 5 to 6 days a week, primarily on the 2nd Shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.Essential Skills2 years of experience in die setting or a background in machining/mechanics.Proficiency in reading blueprints.Experience with mills and related equipment.Skillful use of micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Experience working in a high-speed production environment.Ability to lift 50 lbs.High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications2-year technical degree.Experience with large progressive die setup.Welding skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a large, climate-controlled manufacturing facility, though it may remain hot due to steel wheel production. Our heavy industrial environment, with 500 employees, produces half a million steel wheels monthly for major Automotive OEMs like Honda, Ford, and Nissan. The environment can be dirty, dealing with metal parts, but we have recently invested $30 million in new equipment.

The pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
