We are seeking a skilled Progressive Die Operator to support high-precision metal stamping operations in a regulated medical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring progressive die presses to produce tight-tolerance components while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. ...

Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor progressive die stamping presses according to work instructions and production schedules

Load materials, adjust feeds, and verify press settings prior to and during production runs

Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications

Troubleshoot minor tooling, material, or press issues and escalate more complex issues as needed

Conduct routine press and die maintenance, including lubrication and basic preventative checks

Accurately document production counts, scrap, downtime, and quality checks

Follow all safety, quality, and GMP requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment

Collaborate with tooling, maintenance, and quality teams to support continuous improvement

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments

Die setup or troubleshooting experience beyond basic operation

Familiarity with SPC, quality documentation, or ISO/FDA-regulated processes

Experience with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Experience operating progressive die stamping presses in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions

Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Understanding of safety procedures related to press operations

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
