**Job Title: Steel Manufacturing Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Steel Manufacturing Machine Operator, where you will play a vital role in our production process. You will assist in operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring quality and precision in the manufacturing of steel parts. **Responsibilities** + Assist with the heating of furnaces. + Load steel parts onto conveyor belts. + Cut steel billings to specified lengths. + Operate overhead cranes efficiently. + Spray machinery down to cool. + Perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 months experience in steel manufacturing. + Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot and loud environments. + Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Experience with furnace operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with tow motors and overhead cranes. + Steel Toe Boots required. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a direct hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits starting after 30 days, including a 401k plan with a match after six months. Hours at E. 78th location: 7:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday, or 10:00PM - 8:00AM, Sunday - Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36691.20 - $39270.40/yr.
