Job Title: Die Cutter Operator
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Die Cutter Operator where you will assist machine operators in the sanding department. You will operate machinery to punch sandpaper into smaller, round pieces for sanding tools. This role requires a fast-paced work ethic and the ability to assist in various tasks such as packaging, labeling, and palletizing materials.
Responsibilities
Assist machine operators in the sanding department.Operate machinery to punch sandpaper into smaller pieces.Move quickly to assist operators, package materials, label, palletize, and make boxes as needed.Work with HMI and CNC machines, handling materials up to 35 lbs while running a die cutter.Learn to pull orders, use inventory systems (scanners), and stage products.Monitor machinery and products, calculate measurements and document product data.Shrink wrap final products and prepare them for shipment.Essential Skills
Previous machine operating experience, preferably with a die cutter.Ability to work with HMI and CNC machines.Experience in manufacturing with a focus on production schedules.Strong attention to detail and excellent attendance records.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanically inclined with experience in the manufacturing industry.Skills in packaging, labeling, and warehouse shipping.Forklift operation experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PETERSBURG, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
