**Job Title: Die Cutter Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Die Cutter Operator to assist in the sanding department where large rolls of sandpaper are punched into smaller, round pieces for the ends of grinders and other sanding tools. The role involves operating machinery to punch sandpaper, maintaining a fast-paced work environment, and supporting machine operators with various tasks such as packaging, labeling, and palletizing. **Responsibilities** + Assist machine operators in the sanding department and operate machinery to punch sandpaper. + Maintain a fast pace and support operators by packaging materials, labeling, palletizing, and making boxes. + Work with HMI, CNC machines, and handle materials up to 35 lbs while running a die cutter. + Monitor machinery and product, calculate measurements such as weights, count all packed product, and document pallet contents. + Shrink wrap final products and prepare them for shipping. + Use computer systems and scanners for inventory management and order processing. + Maintain attention to detail and repetitive lifting, especially when handling high-priority customer orders. **Essential Skills** + Previous machine operating experience, preferably on a die cutter. + Few years of experience in manufacturing, working on a production schedule. + Ability to work closely with team members to complete tasks. + Perfect attendance record and reliability. **Why Work Here?** Join a tenured plant with a production manager boasting 26 years of experience in a relaxed environment where production goals are reasonable.
