Job Title: Die Cutter Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating die cutting machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining equipment. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless production of packaging for major brand grocery boxed items.

ResponsibilitiesReview job ticket to understand production requirements.Conduct pre-make ready activities as required.Set up die, counter plates, stripping section, and press for production.Pull front trim as needed to maintain quality.Clean counter plates and strip down dies that are locked up.Maintain cleanliness of the area around the press.Perform maintenance on machinery as required.Deliver cut cartons to the finishing department.Complete other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in machine operation and setup.General maintenance skills.Strong mechanical aptitude.Experience in die cutting.Additional Skills & QualificationsProblem-solving skills with the ability to develop alternative solutions.Excellent customer service skills, promptly responding to needs and requests.Interpersonal skills with the ability to remain open to new ideas.Organizational skills, adhering to policies and supporting company goals.Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.Commitment to quality, monitoring and improving work performance.Ability to meet productivity standards and work efficiently.Strong safety and security awareness, using equipment properly.Reliable attendance and punctuality, ensuring work responsibilities are covered.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
