Job Summary:
The Foundry Die Cast Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the casting process within a foundry setting. This role involves setting up, monitoring, and adjusting equipment to ensure the efficient production of metal castings while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery such as molding machines, melting furnaces, pouring equipment, and sand mixers to produce metal castings according to specifications.Set up machines and tools, including molds, cores, and patterns, for each production run.Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.Inspect finished castings for defects, such as cracks, air bubbles, or incomplete fills, and make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to address issues
