The Position

The Diagnostics Solutions Partner drives the development and execution of the country business plan for diagnostic solutions, translating strategy into scalable healthcare offerings that advance precision medicine and improve patient outcomes. The role ensures alignment between Roche Pharma and Diagnostics priorities, enabling sustainable healthcare ecosystem development through integrated patient pathways, infrastructure capability building, and expanded access to high-value companion diagnostics. By fostering strategic partnerships with healthcare stakeholders and supporting national health initiatives, the role enhances the patient journey and accelerates adoption of innovative testing solutions. The position continuously monitors internal and external trends in Companion Diagnostics and healthcare systems to generate actionable insights that inform decision-making and ensure optimal medical and business impact.

What you bring:

Strategic Planning & Business Development

Lead the development and deployment of the country diagnostic solutions strategy aligned with therapeutic area priorities and Egypt’s hyper-focused ambition & strategy.Develop and implement the country diagnostics business plan in alignment with Pharma strategies and national healthcare priorities.Translate global and regional diagnostic strategies into locally relevant healthcare solutions and tactical plans.Lead Roche participation in national health initiatives (e.g., oncology and chronic disease programs) integrating diagnostics into patient pathways.Drive access models enabling availability of companion diagnostics in public and private sectors, including sponsored testing frameworks.Shape data-driven healthcare ecosystems and support readiness for advanced diagnostics (e.g., NGS adoption).Support healthcare infrastructure capability building programs (capacity & capability) to enable precision medicine implementation.Act as local coordinator for cost-sharing diagnostic programs and ensure alignment with affiliate financial and compliance frameworks.Contribute to integrated brand and disease area plans through diagnostic value propositions and messaging.

Stakeholder Engagement & Partnership

Build and sustain a multi-stakeholder ecosystem enabling adoption and scalability of diagnostic solutions.Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders: public health authorities, payers, laboratories, pathologists, physicians, and academic institutions.Act as the OneRoche focal point between Pharma and Diagnostics affiliates, ensuring aligned engagement strategies.Facilitate collaboration across internal pods, medical, ISL, ICL, access, and disease area teams to deliver unified customer engagement.Lead diagnostic collaboration within national projects and ecosystem partnerships.In collaboration with the affiliate digital enabler, the DSP engages the key stakeholders using omni-channel approaches and structured scientific exchange platforms.Coordinate regional and global expertise engagement for education and capability building initiatives.Support laboratories in quality improvement journeys, including accreditation readiness initiatives.

Execution & Operational Excellence

Ensure high-quality implementation of diagnostic programs with measurable impact on patient access and system performance.Execute diagnostic initiatives end-to-end within disease area PODs, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget adherence.Enable operational pathways for companion diagnostic testing including logistics, testing workflow, and patient access.Forecast diagnostic testing demand and ensure supply readiness aligned with project scale-up.Monitor program performance using operational and clinical data and implement corrective actions.Analyze laboratory data and patient flow insights to optimize project outcomes and access efficiency.Deliver internal and external education programs tailored to stakeholder roles and specific assays.Organize and support scientific meetings, training sessions, symposia, and customer engagement activities.Ensure compliant execution of all activities in alignment with Roche standards and healthcare regulations.Implement strategies, plans, and tactics on time, end to end, within budget, and to high quality standards, fully integrated within DA PODs.Monitor, analyze, and act upon data to track customer satisfaction, and overall outcomes of DA PODs diagnostics initiatives.Annual forecasting of the diagnostic kits required to perform the companion diagnostic tests for a given project

Market Insight & Trend Analysis

Provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and maintain competitive positioning in precision medicine.Monitor local and global trends in companion diagnostics, healthcare infrastructure, and precision medicine adoption.Identify system barriers and opportunities impacting patient access to testing and recommend solutions.Generate insights from real-world data, lab analytics, and stakeholder feedback to inform strategy refinement.Provide the country leadership team with recommendations on ecosystem development and investment prioritization.Deliver ongoing internal education to enhance organizational understanding of diagnostic innovation and value.Stay abreast of internal and external developments, trends, and dynamics in the Companion Diagnostics arena.Provide timely insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decisions and ensure competitive advantage.Provides ongoing, internal education and training on Diagnostics solutions updates.

Who you are:

You hold bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).You bring 5+ years of experience of working across different functions of the pharmaceutical/Healthcare industryYou have Proven experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare solutions strategy, Oncology background is strongly favoredYou have strong understanding of Companion Diagnostics, market access, and patient journey enhancement and experience building sustainable partnerships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.You boldly acts on key decisions and opportunities & stop any activity that is not adding value.You are humble and eager to learn from others.You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; & able to translate data into actionable insights.You have strong project management and execution capabilities, with experience delivering on complex cross-functional initiatives.You have High level of business acumen with understanding of healthcare systems and market dynamics.You operate in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and navigate multiple stakeholders.
