Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for either a DevOps Engineer (Level 2) or a Principal DevOps Engineer (Level 3). This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
What you’ll get to do?
As a DevOps Engineer, you will have a passion for developing and automating creative solutions. Key areas of responsibly include system analysis, design, develop, build, test, implement, and maintain various systems to meet functional objectives of the business. We cover a wide variety of technologies including Jenkins, Fortify, Ansible, Atlassian suite, TeamForge, ASP, Visual Build, Docker, Kubernetes and many more. You will Implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, containerizing or Cloud distribution. You will function with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. You will ensure implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Basic Qualifications:
DevOps Engineer (T02): 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 0 years with Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreePrincipal DevOps Engineer (T03): 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 3 years with Master's degree; 1 year with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeActive TS/SCI required at the time of applicationExperience with CI/CD Pipeline functionsExperience with Jira, Jenkins and Git/Version Control SoftwareAbility to communicate and present technical information at different organizational levelsPreferred Qualifications:
Current Security + certificationExperience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address requirementsAbility to identify needs for automation, designing and implementing of CICD solutionsExperience working with containersFamiliarity with API Security and Container SecurityExperience with Agile developmentExperience with developing microservicesExperience with Linux and AnsiblePrimary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
