**About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior DevOps Engineer** to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of a **GraphQL data provisioning platform** . This role is critical to bridging the gap between software development, data management, and IT operations within our enterprise. You’ll be responsible for automating software delivery, ensuring infrastructure reliability, and implementing robust DevOps practices to support high-availability systems in a continuous delivery environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the automation of software delivery pipelines and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable deployments.
+ Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Infrastructure teams to align implementations with enterprise standards.
+ Serve as a bridge between Cybersecurity architecture and data platform teams to support GraphQL API design and deployment.
+ Modify and write code to support software deployment automation and maintain high-performance delivery pipelines.
+ Design, build, and maintain application interfaces, automation scripts, and deployment workflows.
+ Mentor development teams in CI/CD best practices and toolchain adoption.
+ Integrate testing, deployment, and monitoring tools to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
+ Automate manual release processes and implement automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance testing.
+ Drive story refinement and estimation throughout the agile lifecycle.
+ Perform proof-of-concepts and technical spikes to support new ideas and reduce risk.
**Required Skills & Experience:**
+ Hands-on experience with **container technologies** like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
+ Proficiency in **CI/CD and DevOps tools** : Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
+ Skilled in **infrastructure automation** using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
+ Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
+ Deep understanding of **software delivery automation** in both on-prem and cloud environments.
+ Familiarity with **GraphQL** , Apollo Federation, and Microservices architecture.
+ Experience in **monitoring and observability tools** such as Prometheus and Splunk.
+ Expertise in Linux systems and operations-heavy environments.
+ Strong focus on **security best practices** and implementing infrastructure-level controls.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
+ Experience with **Trino/Starburst** , **data modeling** , and **stakeholder engagement** is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proven track record in driving DevOps strategy and influencing technical direction.
+ Experience coaching teams in Agile/DevOps environments.
+ A continuous learner passionate about modern engineering practices.
